Here’s Max Factory’s take on “Mugi” from K-On. She’s displaying some pretty impressive skill as a waitress in this figure.

DetailsMax Factory’s Figma line has only been around since 2008, but in the four short years since it started, it’s established itself as one of the leading series of figures out there. They’ve been quite active with Type-MOON’s properties, especially the Fate franchise, and here we have their newest Fate figure, Saber in her suit from Fate/Zero.

DetailsI’ve already outlined my reasons for being weak at the knees thanks to this design, so it should be no surprise that when Kotobukiya announced this figure of her, I had to pre-order it.

DetailsTony Taka, animal ears, thigh-highs, and a maid outfit? (Long ones are my favorite, too!) There wasn’t a chance that this was gonna escape my collection, and I was ready to preorder from the day Kotobukiya revealed their intent to produce a figure of Rouna.

This is Max Factory’s take on Xiaomei Rin (Variously known as Xiao-Mei or Shaomei) from Shining Hearts. The character designs for this game were done by Tony Taka, and I’m a total sucker for his designs. I’m also weak to Qipao (Chinese dresses), thigh-highs, and animal ears, so there was no way I could avoid buying this one.

DetailsHaven’t done a doll update in quite a while. Continue below for more pics and commentary:
DetailsI got this doll a while ago, actually, but forgot to post here until now. She’s a Feeple65 Siean from Doll Shop FairyLand. I got the “Empress of Sword” full-set with the outfit and wig, which turns out to have possibly not been the greatest decision, as both stained her a bit. Good thing it’s…
DetailsHere’s some more E-An pictures. She’s wearing an outfit from Angell Studio, a wig from Supia (came with Maridah’s Haeun), and boots from Dollfie Dream Neris. Processing was done with Nik Color Efex Pro 4 – I just got it for Christmas and I”m still learning it, so apologies if they seem overdone or anything….
DetailsJust a quick update here – I was feeling really weird about having my doll and figure stuff in the same photostream as my normal photography, so I deleted it all and made a new account for it. Just like this site, the username is “Otakushots”. http://www.flickr.com/photos/otakushots/ I’ve been using Flickr a lot more lately,…
DetailsBeato had been wearing the same outfit since just after Anime Expo, so I finally decided to put some new clothes on her. After the staining fiasco with this outfit’s jacket, I hadn’t even wanted to think about it, but now that she’s got a bodystocking to protect her legs from the stockings and skirt,…
