Saber – Nendoroid Complete File edition

It’s been quite a while since Good Smile teased this Nendoroid of Saber in her casual clothes. When it finally surfaced for pre-order earlier this year, it was as part of a set that also included the Nendoroid Complete File book.

Good Smile Company reacted to 2011′s devastating earthquake and tsunami by starting an ongoing line of figures and other merchandise, known as the “Cheerful Japan” series, and with profits going to reconstruction efforts. They announced a Rin & Saber Nendoroid pair in late 2011, and I finally received my set in June of 2012.

Dollfie Dream Meetup – San Francisco June 2012

Last weekend saw the first in what is to become a monthly Dollfie Dream meetup in San Francisco’s Japantown. The meet was organized through the Dollfie Dreams forums, and we ended up having seven doll owners show up, a pretty good turnout for a regional event, especially the first one.

Saber/EXTRA by SEGA – Review

I picked up this Saber figure at Fanime. It’s a “UFO Catcher”-type prize figure from SEGA. I’m actually glad I found it, as I hadn’t been happy with CLAYZ’s Saber/EXTRA considering the high price, and Gift’s isn’t the literal interpretation of the character I wanted.
